Gareth Malone's latest project was to coach a choir of British Olympic Medallists for Sport Relief, recently aired live on BBC. I've posted the video here. The musicians are Violins: Me and Ellie Fagg, Viola: Fiona Opie, Cello: Gregor Riddell, Bass: Alice Kent, Horn: Richard Ashton, Kit: Jez Wiles, and Piano: Michael Higgins. I think Gareth did a fab job!
On 30th March at the Royal Albert Hall, I'll be playing violin and singing backing vocals for the legendary band. They are performing Quadrophenia in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity. I'm beside myself, as you might imagine. Wow. Check out Gigs page for details.
The guitarist who plays on my album, Kalle Wallner, is also a member of a Prog Rock band called RPWL. They called me a while ago to see if I'd fly out to Germany to play on their 10th anniversary album. I did some string arrangements for some of their greatest hits, and hung out for a couple of days recording in their studio. The album is due to be released on 26th March, and includes an interview I gave while I was out there. More details are on RPWL's website
